Jordan: I had told Kelly ahead of time that I was making her a special breakfast. While she was still asleep, I cooked some eggs and sliced some strawberries. I also made her a cup of coffee in a very special coffee mug. I put the breakfast and coffee on a tray, and brought her breakfast in bed.

Kelly: I was still asleep when Jordan brought me the breakfast he prepared. Needless to say, I was very surprised! I took a few bites, but I was still so sleepy that I wasn’t really hungry yet. So I took my coffee downstairs to drink while sitting on the couch and reading the news.

Jordan: It took Kelly forever to finish her coffee! She’d take a sip and then put down the mug while she read her tablet. I sat next to her on the couch waiting for her to finish. She also started to get a little annoyed at my choice of mug. “Where did you find this mug?!” she asked.

Kelly: It wasn’t my normal coffee mug! It was much smaller than my normal mug, and I had never seen it before. Jordan was really quiet and sitting at my feet.

Jordan: Finally, after an hour and a half from when I first gave Kelly her breakfast, she finished her coffee. Luckily, she noticed the note at the bottom. She said YES!
